As it happens they aren't Harley Davidson at all, they are in fact the 'Glitterati', who originally from Leeds -- have been doing a series of warm up shows around smaller venues under various pseudonyms and guises whilst gearing up for the release of their debut single.
More importantly, the Glitterati have Ron Wood hair and in John Emsley they have a guitar player who is not only perhaps one of the tallest human beings on Earth but also has the lowest slung guitar I've ever seen and sports a 'perma-fag' hanging from his lips at an angle that is 'just so'.
Glitterati crank out the loudest and most cohesive sound I've heard yet from the Sheep's sound system.

Drowned in Sound - Reviews - Album - The Glitterati
By contrast, the Glitterati's scuzzed up sleaze-rock debut sounds dated enough to warrant suspicion it may have been found in a time capsule that was buried in 1989.
That having been said, The Glitterati's best songs are their flat-out rockers; when the band ratchets up the volume there's fun to be had, albeit in short bursts.
But a lesson The Glitterati would do well to learn is this; if you’re going to a bank a future on dusting off an old idea, you better be able to bring something new to the table.

When we last spoke to The Glitterati guitarist Nic Denson was bemoaning the fact that radio didn't seem too bothered in the band.
In the old days a group like The Glitterati could find a nice home on the late Tommy Vance's Friday Rock Show but, with the exception of Mary Ann Hobbs, it's difficult to see where the band's going to fit in the current radio profile.
Solid if uninspired The Glitterati are going to have to rely on their live performances because they're unlikely to break the radio barrier with this.

The Democrats raked in $US7.5 million ($A10.4 million) but the cost to the Kerry campaign was days of bad publicity in the swing states as the Republicans pumped out stories about the depravity of the Democrats' supporters.
Conservative Catholic commentator Michael Novak says the rise of the secular glitterati, in which he includes movie and television stars, political activists and journalists, destroyed the Democrats' base in the south and put the party at odds with the majority of middle America.
And when Senator Kerry and Senator Edwards are in front of the television cameras, note that they will be surrounded by their families and wholesome party stalwarts, including many from the Midwest.
