  The Glorification of Saints
At times the laity determined beforehand the future glorification of ascetics, even while the latter were still alive, and in witness of their determination erected churches dedicated to such ascetics, apparently in the certainty that the blessing of the hierarchy would be forthcoming.
Generally, the glorification of Russian saints from the eighteenth to the twentieth centuries was marked by the uncovering of their holy relics.
Glorification is usually an expression of the voice of the people of the Church, to whom the higher ecclesiastical authority, after due verification, gives synodally the final word, establishment, recognition, confirmation and the sanction of the Church.

"Sati glorification: Crime, Society And The Wheels Of Injustice By Rakesh Shukla"
The first limb of the provision defines 'glorification' as including the observance of any ceremony or the taking out of a procession in connection with sati.
The court, duty-bound to apply the definition of sati as laid down in the law, instead declares that 'sati' means a "woman being virtuous, having strong character, completely devoted towards her husband and having a relationship with only one man during her whole life".
The provision is then interpreted to mean that the observance of any ceremony or the taking out of a procession must also be in relation to a particular incident for the act to be punishable.

Glorification: The Resurrection of Our Bodies
Yet, however glorious is the transformation of the people of God at death and however much they may be disposed to say with the apostle that to depart and to be with Christ is far better (Ph 1:23), this is not their glorification.
It will happen when Christ returns and raises from the dead the bodies of all believers for all time who have died, and reunites them with their souls, and changes the bodies of all believers who remain alive, thereby giving all believers at the same time perfect resurrection bodies like His own.
Glorification is a work of the entire Trinity.

As a result the word of God, which should have been glorified by man in an ever-growing appreciation of its effectual working within; and which should have been glorified by man for its capacity to produce the godliness man was created to possess, was replaced with the word of another.
The full glorification of the word of God for what it is as the lifeblood of man’s relationship with God, and for the more excellent power that it has as it works within us, is something we today have the privilege of dramatically putting on display.
These five issues do not exhaust all there is to the glorification of God’s word, but they are certainly major components of it.

The Great Christian Hope of Glorification
Not only will all Christians be glorified together, but since our glorification happens at Christ's return "the glorification of the elect will coincide with the final act of the Father in the exaltation and glorification of the Son.
Hence glorification has in view the destruction of death itself."[10] Thus, Christ must raise believers from the dead if He is to fully claim the victory He won over death at His resurrection, and if He is to fully deliver us from the penalty of our sins.
This deeper understanding of glorification, and the resurrection of our bodies that is involved in it, gives us a greater understanding of the great things in store for us if we are trusting in Christ for salvation.

God causes all things of the creation to work together for the good of those whom God foreknew and predestined to be changed into the image of His Son, and to be glorified together with His Son in the eyes of the world.
That the elect were predestined to be glorified with Christ does not mean that their glorification is an accomplished fact or that their destiny will be fulfilled whether or not they respond to their calling.
