		Michael Glos (born December 14, 1944 in Brünnau) is a German politician (CSU) and Minister for Economics and Technology since November 22, 2005.
		Since 1970, Glos is a member of the CSU.
		In 1976, Glos was elected to the Bundestag.

		The Great Lakes Observing System (GLOS) is a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing wide community access to real-time and historic data on the hydrology, biology, chemistry, geology and cultural resources of the Great Lakes, its interconnecting waterways and the St. Lawrence River.
		GLOS is a regional node of the U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) initiative.
		Establishment of the GLOS Regional Association is being led by a Steering Committee in collaboration with a Regional Interest Group of more than 300 potential users of the system, ranging from maritime, environmental and industry interests to scientists and educators.
