Gloucester were short of a host of key players through international calls to add to the inevitable injury list but struggled to stamp any authority on the game until late on.
Gloucester made a great start to the match and provided a strong finish to give them a good bonus point winning result but in between were guilty at times of some sloppy play which allowed Edinburgh back into the game.
Gloucester started with plenty of gusto and no little grunt to back up a series of up and unders but were let down by errors at key moments.

Gloucester is one of the oldest and most famous of England’s rugby clubs, possibly because it’s one of the few major teams not competing with a local football club.
A new grandstand, constructed in 1926, burnt down six years later and had to be replaced with the one still in use today.
Gloucester won again at Twickenham in 1978, beating Leicester in the John Player Cup, but they’ve been back only twice since, losing to Bath in 1990 Cup Final and winning the 2002 Premiership play offs.

In 1897 H W Rudge founded and established the Dings Crusaders as a part of the Dings Boys Club, one of the activities of the Shaftesbury Crusade, he was the original driving force behind the club and acted as secretary for about 30 years and then went on to be President.

Gloucester Old Boys RFC was formed in 1904 when the then Gloucester RFC captain George Romans placed an advert in the local “Citizen” asking any “old boys” of the three city schools — Sir Thomas Rich’s, Crypt and Kings — if they were interested in forming an “Old Boys” rugby club.
George Romans, still captain of Gloucester RFC, served on the “Old Boys” committee, and the first match was played against Gloucester “A” (now Gloucester United), and the Old Boys lost 5 points — 15 points.
Up to 1923 the club colours were navy blue, but after a complaint from the “Old Plutoniums” (Old Richians soccer team) who also wore navy blue, the club changed to claret, red and navy hoops after the colours of the three city schools from which they were formed.

I am an avid Gloucester fan, have been going to games for 27 years and I have not seen any evidence of the behaviour he mentioned.
Most Gloucester supporters are indeed working class; they are also opposed to all forms of racism.
As much as we Gloucester supporters like to criticise most aspects of Bath Rugby, none of us can recall 'any whiffs of racism' from their supporters.
