Ryall Atlantic Ltd. wanted to develop a product that would assist those wanting to learn more about Newfoundland and Labrador culture, heritage and history and it would have to be fun to play and be a valuable learning tool, that is where the idea for a trivia board game was born.
To do that the board design itself had to be fun and representative of the culture, heritage and history of Newfoundland and Labrador and it also had to be designed so that it could accommodate at least 150 spaces.
Given that Labrador has just over 30 communities and Newfoundland over 240 communities we could not produce an accurate representation of the Province and therefore had to shrink Labrador and stretch Newfoundland so that all 150 spaces could be put into the game.
