Ive shot the same glute twice in a week before now when I was using prop and had no problems but that was before I was using different sites so it would probably be better to use quads as metneck says.
Yes, no problem - your glute is a large muscle and if you look at the whole upper, outer quadrant plus on the side towards the hip, it really allows for multiple sites.
My personal favorite spot was the quads because I could see what I was doing better and the charlie horse feeling made me think that I had just worked out my quads the day before.
