In the News (Tue 17 Nov 09)

  Games Workshop - Warhammer
"Gnoblars are sort of halfway between a Snotling and a Common Goblin, and they live in the foothills that surround the Mountains of Mourn.
For example, each Ogre bites his Gnoblar’s ear as a form of identification.
Gnoblars can help offset some of the Ogres’ problems by providing a second wave and attacking units that might charge Ogres in the flanks.

gnoblar country -- shiny stuffz alwayz
Despite their slender frames, gnoblars have disproportionate amount of strength in their legs and backs, having been selectively bred for load bearing by their masters’ tendency to tread on those who fail to prove themselves useful.
Religion around gnoblars is rare although there are the occasional maw worshippers but these religious band usually reside in the mountains of mourn and the small infection of small wagggghs which forest goblins sometimes spread.
The shantytowns can home from a small 200 gnoblars to 2 million gnoblars these shantytowns contain buildings of all shape and size and are made from what ever the gnoblars can get their hands on (by any means).

 Ninja Gnoblar
Gnoblars or Hill Goblins are the goblinoid smaller "cousins" of normal goblins and orcs.
Though for the most part glad to be the slaves of Ogres, some Gnoblars eventually find their lives too hard in the east and mass together in massive armies that travel into the known world.
Most people simply ignore gnoblars because they have bigger problems in their hands (the least not being the Ogres!), but this little git is not to be sneered at.

These Gnoblars forsake their baggage-carrying brethren and band together into loose but numerous groups that take to the battlefield in the hope of stealing some particularly choice shiny things.
On the battlefield, Gnoblar Trappers will crawl forward into areas of brush and woodland and lie in wait for any who seek to use that cover to flank the Trappers' Ogre masters.
Same model, but the standard and gnoblar come off, and the blade is moved from the bottom to the top (and a handle is added to the bottom).

 Avian - Bang!
Gnoblars who fail to get a clue will move D6" in a random direction (roll a Scatter dice, using the little arrow on the HIT symbol if you get that result).
So if Gnoblar A was charged by Gnoblar B, who was in turn charged by Gnoblar C, C will strike first, followed by B and then A. If two Gnoblars charge the same victim (a quite effective tactic and highly recommended!), the one who charged first strikes first.

 Gnoblars on leadbelcher models?
I noticed on the leadbelcher box that there are gnoblars on some of the leadbelcher models.
So if there are gnoblars on the leadbelcher, does this cost like extra for lookout gnoblars or something like that because i wanna run my leadbelchers clean without any stuff, so i need to know if having gnoblars count as having a gnoblar pet and cost 5 points extra.
There is valid reason for adding gnoblars to leadbelchers as in the fluff leadbelchers have torch gnoblars to light their cannons!

I am well into the priming/painting phase now, and I don't think it would be worth all the effort for just a few Gnoblars.
On the bright side, when I finish painting, I will have a TON of miniatures available for just about any imaginable scenario.

De hecho, a los Gnoblars les gusta tanto dedicarse a este pasatiempo tan cruel y poco común que algunos de ellos llegan incluso a entrenarse como tramperos.

Gnoblars are smaller in all respects (nose aside), which means that you may have a bit of a challenge getting some of the larger ork or grot weapons to fit their little hands.
The vast majority of gnoblars are in a stooped position, which means that they look like an appropriate carpet of greenskins when ranked up, but you may find that you want to position them for additional detail visibility; adding some height to their bases may help.
Actually if you compare grots to gnoblars, grots are little smaller, so the fit is perfect usually, as goblins are huge compared to grots and gnoblars alike.
