 Amazon.com: Agogo: Music
"Godlike," produced by Ministry cofounder Paul Barker, is a full-throttle adrenaline-fest that steals drum programming from Ministry's thunderous "Thieves"; "Virus-Dub" and "Rip the System" explore and spoof various facets of reggae music; and "Mysterious Ways" is a slinky and surprisingly reverential tribute to Irish superstars U2.
The rest of the album, however, is great.
Of course, even devoted fans could do without the hastily assembled Hellraiser III cut "Ooh La La" and the Scott Burns metal mix of "Hole in the Wall," but overall, Agogo is a worthwhile investment for the aficionado who needs everything.

Eels - Shootenany! - Stylus Magazine
The album starts with “All In A Day’s Work”, E giving it a vocal workout, with his voice that could crush cardboard fighting over the top of the music Robert Johnson would have made if instead of selling his soul to Satan he was being sodomised by him.
Occasionally bearded man forms band with Godlike fat drummer and an entire temp agency’s worth of revolving bassists, has a couple of crossover chart hits, proceeds to have his entire family die, and becomes the poster child for repressives everywhere.
Above all, it IS an Eels album, if only a lacklustre entry in the series.

KMFDM's greatest hits package is quite complete -- it includes "Juke Joint Jezebel," "Rip the System!," the Ministry-ish "A Drug Against War," "Light," "Don't Blow Your Top" and "Godlike-Doglike." I was vaguely impressed with Roxette’s first album Look Sharp, feeling most of its strength lay in the Prince penned single, "The Look," as opposed to the syrupy ballads and MTV ready pop clichés that seemed to fill out the rest of the collection.
Other Roxette albums: Look Sharp (1988), Joyride (1991)
was more the result of happy circumstance than that Roxette are godlike songwriters.

The Meninblack — previewed on The Raven (and IV) by a song of that name — is a hypothetical soundtrack/concept album concerning aliens with godlike powers that is essentially an attack on organized religion.
Formed in 1975, the Stranglers became enormously popular in Britain and Europe when they burst on the scene in 1977 with one of the first new wave albums, preceding both the Clash and the Sex Pistols to the shops by several months.
The subsequent live album — recorded at three gigs in 1985 and 1987 — underscores the Stranglers' paradox.

 REVIEW: KMFDM - "Adios"
KMFDM’s true skill was producing one or two killer singles a year, starting with More and Faster and Virus back in ’89, and Naive and Godlike in 90’.
All the KMFDM ingredients we’ve come to expect are here: the squeaky-clean production, metallic guitars, orchestral accents, groovy chick vocals and, of course, distorted chants of “KMFDM” sprinkled liberally throughout the album.
Conclusion: KMFDM calls it quits***** releasing the quintessential KMFDM album.

KMFDM : Agogo - Listen, Review and Buy at ARTISTdirect
The song "Godlike," on the other hand, is the highly political, ultra-heavy industrial rock that KMFDM have come to be known for since Angst.
Everything from the ultra heavy "Godlike" (featuring the late William Tucker, may he rest in peace) to the more dancey, funky numbers that old-school KMFDM are known for.
While ultra old-school fans would definitely dig this CD, the new-school ones shouldn't be turned off by it, either; it's a very consistent and fun album and has a certain "polished" feel that one doesn't really expect from KMFDM's older material.

THE METAL OBSERVER - Review - BEHEMOTH - Zos Kia Cultus (Here And Beyond)
"Zos Kia Cultus" is the creative climax of BEHEMOTH so far, with near-godlike performances of the bandmembers, creating an extremely diverse, evil and intense artefact of darkness.
"Zos Kia Cultus", meaning Here And Beyond, is already the 10th full-length album of the Polish outfit based around vocalist and guitarist Nergal, and further completed by guitar player Havoc.
Overall, the faster tracks are mostly present on this album, but the ability of BEHEMOTH to slow down whenever they want, without losing a fraction of their brutality, is the strongest point of "Zos Kia Cultus".

 TrouserPress.com :: Blow Monkeys
Moving in to fill the vapid-soul vacancy left by Culture Club during that band's terminal creative drought, England's Blow Monkeys whipped up a disturbingly familiar-sounding bit of fluff, "Digging Your Scene," for their second album.
Most of There Goes the Neighbourhood sounds frighteningly like ABC, but a variety of producers (Stephen Hague, Leon Sylvers III, Julian Mendelsohn and the godlike talents of a certain Blow Monkey) prevents any consistent sound from jelling.
The trivial songs at least sound fine; the peerless Curtis Mayfield provides a huge (if undeserved) credibility boost by duetting on the appropriately derivative "The Day After You." The album title is an effete slap at Margaret Thatcher; the CD adds two extra tracks.

John Peel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Peel was to show this disregard for record company rules again when in 2003 he played three tracks from The White Stripes album Elephant before its official release date, resulting in him being threatened by lawyers for the record company V2.
Peel was 11 times Melody Maker's DJ of the year, Sony Broadcaster of the Year in 1993, winner of the Godlike Genius Award from the NME in 1994, Sony Gold Award winner in 2002 and is a member of the Radio Academy Hall of Fame.
Peel's reputation as the most important DJ breaking unsigned acts into the mainstream was such that in 1983 unsigned artist Billy Bragg drove to the Radio 1 studios with a mushroom biryani and a copy of his record after hearing Peel mention that he was hungry, the subsequent airplay launching his career.
