		Golbat's name may possibly have been taken from "Golden Bat", a minor villain from Henshin superhero series Jinzo Ningen Kikaida.
		Golbat was considered the final evolution of Zubat in the R/B/Y series of Pokémon games.
		Golbat has made most of its appearances under Brock's control, debuting through evolution in the episode "Hassle in the Castle".

		It's main strategy was to just not die, between Haunter's infamous Transparency and Golbat's Leech Life attack, which can work when using Pluspower for not only extra damage, but extra healing too.
		Plus, I would recommend Neo Revelation Golbat, just because the ability to cause 20 more damage next turn is a fairly good efffect to have (40 if you're up against a weak to Grass Pokémon).
		Everything else is nice (if you were using Base Set Gastly, I would have to do something very harsh...), but since we took out a Golbat, we'll stick in another Rocket's Scyther.

		For me, all it took was battling while holding the Soothe Bell and it evolved the level after becomming a Golbat.

		I evolved a Zubat on my Leaf Green Version, but now every time my Golbat gaines a level it tries to evolve again, it lights up and glows, and just before the evolving thing starts, it stops and at the bottom it will read...?
		You also have to talk to PROF.Oak after you beat the elite four and have 60 or more different Pokemon.
		I'm just saying I need to know what other poke'mon I'm going to need to evolve further and how to do it when I get to that point.
