Medieval English genealogy: Notes on the early Saville pedigree and the Butlers of Skelbrook and Kirk Sandal
I infer, therefore, that Henry de Saville was at that date lord of the manor of Golcar.
Golcar was also owned by Peter de Saville in 1286 (see below), but it was held, as to three-fourths of it, from the heir of Richard Butler, who was a descendant of Hugh Pincerna and Avice de Saville.
On this supposition Henry de Saville was twice married, his first wife being the heiress of Golcar, whether or no she was Agnes daughter and heir of John Golcar, as the old pedigrees allege.

Golcar put on early pressure as would be expected with the large vocal home supporters getting behind their team, but never really troubled Bay's Graham McLachlan as his defence stood strong.
Golcar did have an early chance when the lone official failed to spot an obvious offside and allowed the striker to play himself in for a goal scoring opportunity.
The kick was lofted into the area and a Golcar midfielder beat all as he rose to nod the ball past the hapless McLachlan and into far corner of the net.

GOLCAR UNITED, the last Huddersfield team to win the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup in 2001, went through to this year's last 16 with a 2-1 victory over West Yorkshire League side Kellingley Welfare at Longfield Avenue.
Kellingley had the better chances and on 20 minutes they broke down the left and a well-weighted pass put Calvin Waites through on goal and, just as he was poised to shoot, a tremendous tackle by Craig Ruscoe took the ball away for a corner.
Golcar won a corner in the last minute of the first half and Steve Rushworth's superb delivery was met by Holmes who powered a firm header into the top corner to give the home side a half-time lead.
