In Broward, an accident with injuries in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 595 approaching Florida's Turnpike is blocking the right lane.

The Sciurus niger, or Southern fox squirrel, is abundant, but is confined to pine woods; also the Sciurus Carolinonsis, or gray squirrel, which is very tame.
The pine woods near the Kissimmee contained this species in abundance, but none were observed near the lake, owing to the swampy character of the shore.
