The Golden Pheasant (Chrysolophus pictus) is a (Click link for more info and facts about gamebird) gamebird of the order (Pheasants; turkeys; grouse; partridges; quails; chickens; brush turkeys; curassows; hoatzins) Galliformes (gallinaceous birds) and the family (Pheasants; quails; partridges) Phasianidae.
It is unmistakable with its golden crest and rump and bright red body.
