		Roofers using a propane torch started a fire that damaged a historic building in Golden last week, fire officials said Tuesday.
		Workers were repairing leaks in the roof when their torch accidentally started the fire, according to a city of Golden press release.
		The roofing company was working without a "hot work" permit, something required by the Golden Fire Department because workers used a propane torch.
