Oddjob - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Oddjob, so named by Goldfinger, is Korean-born, and, much like in the film, he is extremely strong, proven in one sequence where he breaks the railing of a staircase with his hand and the mantle of a fireplace with his foot.
Oddjob is a henchman to the villain Auric Goldfinger in the James Bond film and novel, Goldfinger.
(This fate is transferred to Auric Goldfinger in the film version.)

GoldenEye 007 is a first-person shooter for the Nintendo 64, based on the James Bond film GoldenEye.
This will be the first game where you will not take on the role of James Bond, but rather an aspiring 00 Agent recruited by Auric Goldfinger, the villian in the movie Goldfinger.
GoldenEye, the movie, will actually have nothing to do with the game nor does Rogue Agent have anything to do with the GoldenEye, the game.

 03/31/01: The Bond films...
Connery didn't get a chance to be the James Bond that we know until "Goldfinger", when he and the director decided to stop being so damn serious.
He was also in the only blaxploitation James Bond film: "Live and Let Die".
And that was expanded upon and refined in Connery's next Bond outings, "Thunderball", "You Only Live Twice", and "Diamonds Are Forever", which I enjoy more than the first three (okay, I usually enjoy "Goldfinger" more than "Diamonds").

 JB03: Goldfinger
The last three tracks on the CD ("Dawn Raid on Fort Knox," "The Arrival of the Bomb and Countdown," and "The Death of Goldfinger/End Titles") make for a back-to-back exercise in building suspense, culminating in a most satisfying listening experience and representing the epitome of what film music ought to be.
On the whole, the main title motif is used more extensively than in Barry's previous score, and given the Goldfinger theme's distinctive, energetic flavor, it is entirely appropriate in the context of the film.
Somewhat sadly, it marked the end of restraint in regard to humor, for subsequent entries began to rely more and more heavily on the outlandish, all too often going for the cheap thrill or the slapstick rather than the subtle and the tongue-in-cheek, which is where the Bond films truly shine.

 Review: Goldfinger
In the midst of Bond's "golden era" of the '60s, it's hard to single out one film as the best, but history has shown Goldfinger to be among the series' most enduring entries.
Goldfinger is studded with moments that have since become deeply embedded in the Bond mythos.
There are several memorable fight sequences (including a climactic struggle between 007 and Goldfinger's nasty henchman, Oddjob) and a lengthy car chase that has Bond's Aston Martin trailing smoke screens and oil slicks, firing built-in guns, and ejecting the passenger seat.

James Bond - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bond's women, particularly in the films, often have double entendre names, leading to coy jokes, for example, "Pussy Galore" in Goldfinger (a name invented by Fleming), "Plenty O'Toole" in Diamonds Are Forever, and "Xenia Onatopp" (a villainess sexually excited by strangling men with her thighs) in GoldenEye.
Bond in the films is a graduate with a degree in Oriental languages from Cambridge University, as stated in You Only Live Twice—contradicting the novels, and Tomorrow Never Dies, wherein he cannot use a Chinese computer keyboard.
The second anthology, Octopussy and The Living Daylights (in many editions titled only Octopussy), originally only contained two short stories, "Octopussy" and "The Living Daylights"; a third story, "The Property of a Lady" was added in the 1967 paperback edition, and a fourth, "007 in New York", was added in 2002.

GoldenEye got the job done in 1995 but appears lackluster at the millennium; its appeal has been overshadowed by the newer films' brilliance.
