Among the religious observances of the Christians of Gondar is that of bathing in large crowds in the Gaha on the Feast of the Baptist, and again, though in more orderly fashion, on Christmas day.

I was sent a colour xerox of a slide this man took, and I can plainly see it is so similar to the Gondar church hangings as to make it almost certain that it was woven at a similar or maybe even the same workshop (but where was that?).
