I'm a frequent Google Image Search user, and the Google Images Re-Linker extension is really convenient for me. But now I've come to think of three other things which I wonder if they can be accomplished, and they are:
ยท I sometimes do searches which result in many a thousand images being found - but Google only displays the first 50 pages.

 Google Random Image
Google Random Image is a little javascript code that scans the html of the page it is on and uses that to find a matching image on Google Image Search, which is then displayed.
I'm new to the google api, I found this siste while looking for a script that would search google images and present the result as a slideshow.
So I thought, I'd load the google image result page in a 150x150 iframe and then scroll so that only the first thumbnail image is visible, but that didn't work either; you're not allowed to scroll foreign windows.

Google has quietly launched the Google Desktop Search, a utility designed to allow users to search their local file systems fast and efficiently.
Originally code-named Puffin, the Desktop Search is a shot over the bow of Microsoft's forthcoming Longhorn OS, which is billed as having been designed with finding information fast and easily in mind.
The end result is that searching your system feels just like using Google, and as previously mentioned, it hooks into regular Google, where you'll now see a "Desktop" tab.

Google patches one security hole, but another surfaces InfoWorld News 2004-10-21 By Paul Roberts, IDG News Service
In patching it, Google developers changed their code to prevent javascript and vbscript, but may have left open other avenues of attack, Ley wrote in an e-mail.
A flaw in Google's Web servers allowed malicious hackers to insert javascript instead of links to image files, allowing them to alter the appearance of the Google search results page or steal search data.
Google developers appear to have missed that four-year-old warning and the company did not respond to repeated e-mails sent to an address for reporting security holes, Ley said.
