After mass revolt of 1990 the witty people of the area had started thinking about a bridge over the river Gorai to connect Haripur, Koya and Shilaidah unions with the district town easily but due to lack of proper presentation it could not be possible to bring the demand to the authorities.
If the bridge is constructed over the river Gorai (Kushtia-Haripur) for the public interest the woes and long-standing demand of the people would be fulfilled.
