Goramansingh is a small village in the Darbhanga district of Bihar.

Majority of people in Goramansingh are Rajput by caste.They are very gentle and known for their hospitality.Beside them it has other cast like Kayasth, Dhanuk, Badhay(carpenter),Khatvay, Muslim, Nai, Dhobi, Kumhar, yadav and rarely Brahman.

Goramansingh is a small village in the Darbhanga district of Bihar, India.
It is located approximetly 62 kilometers east of Darbhanga (The district headquarters) and 12 kilometers east from its subdivisional headquarters of Biraul on the bank of the Kamla-Balan river in Bihar.
The way of celebrating Chhath in the village Goramansingh is almost the same as celebrating Chhath in th rest of Bihar.

Only when the people become literate, will our country progress," said Ruchi Agarwal, a student of the Patna Women's College.
But while people on the one hand are raising a hue and cry over the education system and the poor levels of literacy on the other hand, students of Kaushik High School in Goramansingh village of Bihar's Darbhanga District, go to school in the hope that a teacher is waiting for them.
The students say that the teachers only come to school on national holidays like Republic day (January 26) Independence Day (August 15) and other important days.
