And a special demonstration by the Gordon County Fire Department had everyone’s attention, as firefighters used the so-called “jaw” equipment to dismantle a junked car to show how a person is extracted from a wrecked vehicle.
Gordon County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) director Tim Reeve said “Public Safety Day 2001” was an excellent opportunity to show the public specifically what services surround Gordon County residents.
