 | | I checked out the Freeway Hotel on Thursday, along with co-reviewer Lucas, and we must admit, we find it to be in an odd place. |
 | | Well situated for the local office workers, warehouse staff, workies and passing trade from the nearby freeway after which it's named, this palce is large, reminiscent of some of the larger pubs out at the Northern Beaches, with pretty much everything you'd expect, including a drop-in cafe in the centre. |
 | | To the right, you'll find the sports bar, with TAB, pokies, two pool tables and tall stools, to the left is the piano bar (on automatic for our visit), with a more loungey feel, an outside area (smokers take note) and a classy-looking restaurant. |
