Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) is a political party in northern West Bengal, India, formed in 1980.
GNLF runs the Darjeeling Gorkha Autonomous Hill Council and Ghising is the chairman of the council.
Ahead of the 2004 Lok Sabha elections GNLF supported Congress candidate Dawa Narbula, who won with large margin in the Darjeeling constituency.

The Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) has called off its 72-hour bandh in Darjeeling hills from March 16 after the West Bengal Government accepted its demand that Subhas Ghising would continue as caretaker after the expiry of the term of Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council on March 26.
Gurung said GNLF chairman as well as rank and file of the front were happy with the decision of the State Government as there was a sense of uncertainty in the hills following agitational programmes announced by GNLF earlier.
Meanwhile, Madan Tamang, the chief of People’s Democratic Front, the political rival of GNLF, described the State Government’s decision to accept ghising’s demand as ‘unconstitutional and illegal.’
