I went to my favourite eatery in Gosport on Saturday, now I know it was hot and I know it was packed due to its waterfront location, but, the service was appalling.
There was a long wait for food (which I could understand), the wine was warm (which I could sort of understand) but there was no excuse for the rude attitude of staff, no matter how hassled or busy they were.
We were in the lightship on two nights the weekend before and the staff certainly did seem under pressure - I just don't think that the kitchen is big enough to cope with more than a certain number of simultaneous orders.
