A lot of my buds are goth but I'm not and people pretty much persecute me for it but I just figure those people are not my friends, and whoever accepts me is all that matters.
I have met some goth who were some of the sweetest people I've ever met, and I've met some that I just couldn't stand, same for preps, I have friends of all types of "cultures" I guess you could say, including Goths and preps.
No where does it say they plan to eliminate goth culture they are merely concerned for kids...
