The Coat of arms was adopted in February 1967, and on the same month the associate state of St-Kitts Nevis Anguilla was created, with its vertical triband with a tree.
I doubt that these arms ever appeared as a badge on a Blue Ensign, but were probably used on the Union Jack of Governor 1967-1983.

On 1 February 1980 Anguilla became a separate crown colony and later adopted the blue ensign with the former flag as a sort of badge.
