The Governor's Wisconsin Educational Technology Conference (GWETC) is the largest educational technology conference for PK-16 educators, administrators, and technology coordinators in Wisconsin.
A primary goal of the Wisconsin education community must be to continually improve the way educational technology supports teaching and learning at all levels of instruction and training.
GWETC is Wisconsin's premier educational technology event, bringing together faculty, staff, and administrators from PK-16 schools, technical colleges, public and private higher education, state agencies and libraries, as well as training directors from business and industry.

 WDNR - Find a State Park or Forest
Wisconsin state parks, forests, and recreation areas are as varied as the areas around them--there are forests, prairies, lakes, rivers, hills, and valleys.
Wisconsin's First Capitol (exit DNR) historic site is less than a mile to the west.
The forest was purchased recently from the Wisconsin Public Service Corporation and is in the master planning process.

Wisconsin will be liable when one of its citizens is hospitalized or even dies after taking an unsafe medication purchased from a Canadian pharmacy "featured" on his state’s Prescription Drug Resource Center website.
Despite these obvious dangers, Governor Doyle is aggressively encouraging Minnesotans to purchase their prescription drugs from Canadian pharmacies "visited" and "reviewed" by Wisconsin state officials.
By vouching for the safety of these Canadian pharmacies, Governor Doyle has placed his state squarely in the legal line of fire, baiting the hook for any trial lawyer to sue Wisconsin on behalf of any citizen injured by an imported drug.

Governor Jim Doyle today announced the appointment of Mary Burke as Secretary of the Department of Commerce.
Governor Doyle has signed the vast majority of "Grow Wisconsin's" provisions into law including legislation to eliminate the tax on creating jobs, enact the most aggressive regulatory reform policy in the Midwest, and expand access to venture capital.
As a result of these reforms, Wisconsin weathered the national recession far better than its neighbors - leading the Midwest in job growth for 11 straight months and creating nearly 70,000 jobs in the last year.

Dodge was later appointed the first territorial governor of Wisconsin.

In 1841 Doty became the second Territorial Governor of Wisconsin, and he continued to work with his eldest son Charles and with Harrison and Curtis Reed to develop the area.
Governor Doty told his friends that the Ho Chunk Nation called this place "Menashay" which meant "settlement on the island."
Curtis Reed obtained a charter to build a dam across the Fox River, and the City of Menasha was formally incorporated in 1874.
