AUIP students may also have opportunities for group travel to snorkel and/or dive on the Great Barrier Reef, hike in the Daintree World Heritage Area, and experience Aboriginal culture and wildlife of the Outback, as well as participate (and earn additional course credits) in other AUIP program activities in New Zealand and the Fijian islands.
We encourage students from all majors to apply and AUIP will work directly with students and advisers in ensuring credits are transferred to their home institution.

Graduate students’ freedom of inquiry is necessarily qualified by their still being learners in the profession; nonetheless, their faculty mentors should afford them latitude and respect as they decide how they will engage in teaching and research.
Graduate students should be assisted in making timely progress toward their degrees by being provided with diligent advisers, relevant course offerings, adequate dissertation or thesis supervision, and periodic assessment of and clear communication on their progress.
Graduate students are entitled to the protection of their intellectual property rights, including recognition of their participation in supervised research and their research with faculty, consistent with generally accepted standards of attribution and acknowledgment in collaborative settings.

Once admitted and enrolled, graduate students are required by Graduate School policy to maintain continuous registration during the academic year of Fall and Spring semesters.
Graduate programs are designed and approved by faculty committees assigned to supervise each graduate student.
New graduate students who do not enroll the term they are accepted and who wish to enroll in a subsequent term must resubmit the admissions application form with the Admissions Office.
