Amazon.com: Books: The Human Factor (Everyman's Library (Cloth))
Parts of the book are very moving, and Castle is often a sympathetic character, but I thought the book lacked the philosophical and structural tightness of his earlier, more famous novels.
Codes created from duplicate copies of old books, messages left in a hollow tree, and warning signals made with rings of the telephone now seem to belong to an age much earlier than the mere 24 years which have evolved since the book's publication.

This exhibition was made possible, in part, through the support of the Office of the Westchester County Executive, the Westchester County Board of Legislators, and a grant from the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts.
From the romantic enclaves of the 19th century to the Edge Cities of the 21st, Westchester County’s long and varied history makes it one of America’s classic suburbs—one whose dynamism contributes directly to current debates over the character and meaning of suburban life.
The publication of Westchester: The American Suburb was made possible by a grant from The New York Council for the Humanities, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts.

The episode title, "Terra Prime," refers to the human isolationist movement which Weller's character, John Frederick Paxton, leads from his lunar mining colony.
Recurring players joining this episode are Gary Graham as " Soval," plus Derek Magyar as "Kelby" and Eric Pierpoint as "Harris" (the latter two were introduced in "Affliction" and will be seen several times hence).
He lays down an ultimatum: all non-humans must leave the system within 24 hours, or Terra Prime will "defend the rights of every human." And he'll start by destroying Starfleet Command in San Francisco with a verteron beam.

 Abdullah the Butcher
Before long, Abdullah the Butcher was also established as a well-known villain in the U.S.; and on June 24, 1972, he defeated Ernie Ladd in Akron, Ohio to capture the first of two eventual NWF World Heavyweight Titles.
In addition to his insanely hardcore style, Abdullah the Butcher was revolutionary in that he would never stay in any one territory for too long so as to maintain the novelty and incredible notoriety of his character.
He won his first major championship on October 23, 1967 when he teamed with Dr. Jerry Graham to defeat John and Carlos Tolos for the NWA Canadian Tag Team Titles in Vancouver.
