Returning to Washington from a week-long trip to China, Republican Lindsey Graham and Democrat Chuck Schumer announced on March 28 they would delay a Senate vote on their bill, to impose a 27.5 percent tariff on all Chinese imported goods if the yuan is not adjusted further.
Graham was struck by the magnitude of China's problems and how those issues weigh against sharp changes in currency policy.
While Graham and Schumer reserved the right to push for a vote by September 29 and would call their bill up for a vote sooner if the pace of currency reform slows before that date, the senators believe their bill has served its purpose and hope to drop it.

I'd only point out that Murdoch didn't so much "save" the New York Post in a "how business works" sense as make it into the kind of non-profit that hemorrhages millions-in similar fashion to Sun Myung Moon's continued "saving" of Kellner's own Washington Times.
His attack on Rupert Murdoch shows nothing so much as the fear "old guard" media types have of someone who starts (or, sometimes, saves) media businesses and makes them work.

Old media vs. New media, and the future of American journalism
As evidence that Murdoch is on to something, consider the quote below from this excellent essay by Paul Graham that has been making its way around online.
Graham takes a NYT article on the alleged recent return of the suit to the corporate boardroom and shows how it's the result not of diligent reporting but of a carefully planted "hit" from a PR firm that's probably working for Men's Wearhouse.
I think both Graham and Murdoch have correctly identified an important factor in both the success of online journalism and in the slow-motion train wreck of a failed institution that is the traditional press.
