Enya won a Grammy for "Best New Age Album," though she denies her music is of that genre.
The song "Boadicea" from this album would later be sampled by The Fugees (1996, causing a brief stir because the group neither sought permission from Enya nor gave her credit initially) and Mario Winans (2004).
In September 2004, a new song called "Sumiregusa" was unveiled in Japan as part of an advertising campaign for Panasonic (commercial release has yet to occur as of November 2004).

Nicky Ryan, who was the band producer and manager, quit Clannad in 1982 and took Enya along with him and his wife Roma, for he believed that Enya had a lot of talent in her and wanted to make her develop it.
She released "Shepherd Moons" (1991), which was a hit and which won her a Grammy Award (it sold 11 million copies worldwide, and stayed in the UK charts for 199 weeks!!), then re-released her "Enya" album after re-mastering it and re-naming it "The Celts" (1992).
November 2000 saw the release of her new album, "A Day Without Rain", which won the Grammy Award for best New Age Album.
