That year, five of the Whirly Girls’ designs were selected for inclusion in the “goodie baskets” which were given to all of the celebrity performers, presenters and all the media covering the 2002 Grammy Awards ceremonies.
As a result of their selection for the Grammys, celebrities like Julia Roberts, The Dixie Chicks, India.Arie and Debra Winger have been exposed to and love Whirly Girls’ jewelry.
Whirly Girls were again selected to participate in the “goodie baskets” to be provided to the media and talent participating in the 2003 Grammy Awards ceremonies, to be held in New York on February 23, 2003.
