As the Recording Academy regrouped and redefined itself, the Grammy Exposition and Hall of Fame was too big and complex to fit easily within their ongoing mission and projects.
And though they continue to induct songs into what is now a several hundred song hall of fame, they remain without a physical hall to showcase and honor the inductees.

Legendary entertainer and innovator Earl Scruggs will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, February 13, 2003.
