Grampian Police is the police force in the north east of Scotland, covering the council areas of Aberdeenshire, City of Aberdeen and Moray.
Grampian Police are headquartered in Aberdeen (the former Grampian region).
It was formed on May 16, 1975, when the Grampian region was created, as a merger of the previously-formed Scottish North Eastern Counties Constabulary and the Aberdeen City Police.
