The historical society was founded in October 1970 and were dedicated to preserving the history of the city of Grand Forks and of the County of Grand Forks in North Dakota.
The building was discovered during urban renewal in Grand Forks in the early 1970s and moved to the grounds in 1975.
The remaining three photographs are properties of the Grand Forks County Historical Society.

Grand Forks County landowners may not have been as concerned as landowners in counties with more livestock operations about a provision that prohibits emergency haying and grazing of the acres, said Jim Jost, a Farm Service Agency specialist at the state office in Fargo.
