  Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler, Locustella certhiola, is an Old World warbler in the grass warbler genus Locustella.
It is very similar to the Grasshopper Warbler, but is slightly larger, has white tips to the tail and tertial feathers, and a warmer brown rump.
The song is not the mechanical insect-like reeling produced by the Grasshopper Warbler and some other Locustella warblers, but an inventive Acrocephalus-like melody.

Grasshopper warblers can occur a wide variety of habitats – as well as wetlands they will nest in new forest plantations or any rough grasslands, usually but not always where conditions are damp.
Grasshopper warblers seem to be a species that is on the increase again after a decline in the 1980s which saw numbers estimated at only one sixth of the population 20 years earlier.
Grasshopper warblers start leaving for Africa again in three waves, the first of young birds in July, the next of adults and a second brood of young in late August and September, while the third wave is of the last brood of youngsters in late September.

Note the sharp contrast between the narrow pale borders and the fl centred tertials.

Nearing the village of Pogorzelce we were rewarded with a pair of Barred warbler in roadside bushes the male being particularly obliging whilst in song.

Kathy and I just returned from seeing the Colima Warbler in Big Bend last week (as well as a few hundred other birds across CO, NM, TX and AZ).
It may not be very colorful, as warblers go, but the effort to see it makes the sighting especially rewarding, don't you think?!
