 | | In 1999, I signed an agreement, on behalf of Grayling Township, with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources in which the DNR set aside about 1,800 acres of land between the City of Grayling and Four Mile Road for the purposes of commercial and industrial development. |
 | | The economies of the city and township are so symbiotic that a new job in the city promotes the prosperity of all township residents as well. |
 | | Grayling Township is involved in many, many more projects, too numerous to discuss, but include increasing pedestrian pathways, soil erosion along the shoreline of Lake Margrethe, gypsy moth eradication, ordinance enforcement, blight eradication, and others. |
