Since the first Great Baddow Charity Race was run nearly 21 years ago, the event has become a firm favourite in the sporting calendar of Chelmsford, and particularly Great Baddow.

A winning draw here in a timed game, dominated by an amazing maiden century by Jake Hiskett of 142 (20 fours and 7 sixes, including the one that took him to 100).
Jake has threatened this for a long time and it was a joy to watch, as long as you weren't playing for Baddow.
To their credit, Baddow chased our total, and while S Woolf (79) was at the wicket it was just possible.
