This should really be an exciting game with two teams play excellent football at the moment but with CP at home and in need of a win badly I think they will end up on top of this battle.
There is even some talk that a few I-AA schools have called the Great West and are interested in maybe moving their football teams into the GWFC.
The next year should be an interesting one not only for the futre of the Great West but also the future of I-AA football.

UC Davis, in the second year of a four-year reclassification from NCAA Divison II to Division I-AA status, finished 6-4 overall in 2004 and in second-place in the first-year Great West Football Conference.
His father, Frank, played football at UC Davis (1983-85) and has the second-longest TD reception in school history (92 yards from Chris Petersen against Humboldt State in 1985).

There has been some talk in Fargo media outlets that now NDSU is in a autobid conference for all sports besides football it may be time for Gene Taylor to find Craig Bohl an autobid conference.
They could add NDSU and SDSU which would bring the conference to the perfect number of nine teams for a football conference.
This is a big threat looming on the horizon for the Great West conference but it is still too far away to tell if this talk is just a bunch of hot air or something to be concerned about.
