Great White (original title: L'Ultimo Squalo) is an Italian 1980 horror film by Enzo G. Castellari.
The plot is a classic of the Jaws-like genre: an enormous and angry 35-foot Great White Shark takes revenge on humans when they build a beach just for swimmers by a coastal town.
While the film concerns a Great White, the stock footage variously depicts a catshark (this one just after it appeared as a Great White), a Hammerhead shark, and even a dolphin.

If a film was successful in America, you can bet your bottom Lira that there's at least one cheap Italian rip-off of it, and it would seem that Steven Spielberg's "Jaws" is one of the favourites of Italian rip-off directors, as there's a lot of films that 'take influence' from it.
Those fortunes take a downturn, however, when a giant Great White decides to move into the area, and the people are forced to stay out the water (which proves to be too much for some!).
Despite obviously being a rip-off, Castellari's film is surprisingly serious; and it becomes obvious on several occasions that this film isn't meant to be a joke, despite the big rubber shark.

Great White's tour manager and the owners of the Station club were indicted Tuesday (December 9), and each was charged with 200 counts of involuntary manslaughter — two counts for each person who died in the February 20 blaze ignited by the band's onstage pyrotechnics, according to the Rhode Island attorney general's office.
While it may seem strange that the bandmembers themselves don't face criminal charges, their attorney, Ed McPherson, explained that Biechele was responsible for the agreements Great White had with venues regarding the use of pyrotechnics.
The Providence Journal alleged in September that the venue was past its legal capacity (see "Deadly Great White Show Oversold by Almost 100 People, Paper Says"), which would have made it more difficult for those trapped by flames to escape.
