Glasgow (or Glaschu in Gaelic) is Scotlands largest city and unitary council, situated on the River Clyde in the countrys west central lowlands.
Greater Glasgow Health Board consisting of the local authority regions of East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, most of East Renfrewshire (excepting the towns of Barrhead, Neilston and Uplawmoor) and the City of Glasgow, together with the towns of Rutherglen and Cambuslang in South Lanarkshire.
Glasgow's West End refers to the bohemian district of cafés, bars, boutique's, upmarket hotels, clubs and restaurants in the hinterland of Kelvingrove Park, the University of Glasgow, BBC Scotland's Headquarters, Glasgow Botanic Gardens and the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.
