If there haven't been an radio hits or they were able to get out of their contract, no purpose for a greatest hits album.... Amazon.co.uk: Greatest Hits: Music The problem with this album is that I've heard these tracks every where a million times and putting them on a greatest hits album just gives the imprssion that the Offspring are reaching the new audiences. To me it just seems that the album is packed out with the goofier Offspring songs such as 'Pretty Fly' and 'Hit That' where as it should have been packed out with the songs that are obviously their best such as 'Million Miles Away' and 'The Meaning of Life'.
