Arriving in New York, I made my way to Boston where I got on the Green Tortoise bus for a twelve-day trip across the USA to San Francisco.
I still rate that trip as one of the best I have ever taken in my life, seeing the USA as it should be seen: from the ground, and with a mix of people from the four corners of the world.
I'd still recommend the Green Tortoise to anyone who wants to get a different perspective on the world and on themselves.
