Green Township is a township located in west central Hamilton County, Ohio.
The township is governed by a three-member board of trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1.
The township was originally held intact by John Cleves Symmes, with the apparent intent of naming it as the academy township for his purchase.

At the discretion of the Hamilton County Communications Center, the dispatcher may conduct a 'GROUP CALL' test of the Disaster Net in order to ensure that the radios are in proper working condition and to test hospitals' emergency department processes for receiving communications.
Hamilton County activates the Disaster Net, requests bed availability information from participating hospitals, and provides that information back to Wright Patterson which, in turn, relays the information to the national NDMS Global Patient Movement Center.
