		Greene is a town in Androscoggin County, Maine, USA with a population of 4,076 as of the 2000 U.S. census.
		Greene was settled in 1773 and incorporated in 1778.
		Greene is in Maine's 2nd US Congressional District, Maine Senate District 17, and Maine House of Representatives District 75.
