In the county the population is spread out with 23.90% under the age of 18, 13.70% from 18 to 24, 27.00% from 25 to 44, 23.60% from 45 to 64, and 11.80% who are 65 years of age or older.
County coroner: Determines causes of death in certain cases; is the only person with the power to arrest the sheriff.

Eliza J. Bryant, matron of Greene County Infirmary, Xenia, was born in Bath County, Kentucky, December 25, 1822, and is the daughter of Augusta and Sarah Shoat.
She came to Ohio in 1841, on account of the oppression of slavery, it being the year of the reign f the fl Indians, when the slaveholders were disguising themselves, and killing off the colored women and children.
The former was a native of Ohio, and the latter of Virginia.

The Greene county historical museum has a picture of the station.
The story is that the station was moved to the back of one of the houses in Alpha as some kind of out building and then was demolished a few years ago.
It still is Ohio's deadliest flash flood), it was used as the Panhandle (PRR after April 1920) freight station on the ground floor, XG tower controlling divergent tracks to Cincinnati, Dayton and Springfield on the second floor until the passenger station just west (built in 1850 for the Little Miami RR) was demolished in 1955.

St. Clair was replaced by General "Mad" Anthony Wayne whose military success in August 1794 in the Battle of Fallen Timbers subdued the native populations resulting in the Treaty of Green Ville signed in August 1795.
