For Greeneville businessman and community philanthropist Scott M. Niswonger, chairman of Forward Air Corporation, the building of the stadium is the capstone of a major athletics complex he personally funded for Tusculum College.
Greeneville is the county seat of Greene County, the sixth-largest of Tennessee’s 95 counties.
Greeneville is also home to Tusculum College, the oldest college in Tennessee and the 28th oldest in the nation.
