Greg Kihn (born 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland) is a U.S. pop musician.
As front man for the Greg Kihn Band, he is perhaps best known for the hit single Jeopardy.
Since 2001, the Greg Kihn Band has been one of the opening acts at the annual Kihncert, which is organized by San Jose, California radio station KUFX (promotional name "98.5 KFOX"), where Kihn is the morning DJ.

Greg toned the mood down with a feeling tribute of Bruce Springsteen's "The Rising", which he said was hard to sing because he chokes up on the lyrics, which are about the WTC tragedy.
Greg told Ry to '"get off of the stage and forget about the equipment, take cover!"' The concert was cancelled without a performance, and since Greg is the smart businessman that he's become over the years from much hard learned experience, he got the money up front, but possibly had to fight to keep it.
Greg said it was hard for him also because he has lost both his father and mother, passing away from natural causes, in the last year and a half or so.

The first thing you notice about Greg Kihn live on CD is what a masterful power pop songwriter and showman he was.
Kihn's strengths come to the fore in the King Biscuit Flower Hour concert recorded April 22, 1986 in Philadelphia and just recently remastered and released from the KBFH archives.
The liner notes manage to cover Kihn's career in a minimum of words, and he is quoted describing his approach to rock and roll and songwriting.

Kihn's East Coast roots are little known, as he was spotted by an executive from Beserkley Records (a Bay Area label) early in his career and spirited to the West Coast, where he soon became a fixture.
Kihn's blues abilities were always overlooked; with classic songs like "Madison Blues" (1977) and "Lucky" (from 1984's much-overlooked Citizen Kihn), Kihn showed that his skills ran deeper than straight pop.
