Stafford's technique came under scrutiny, with umpire Shaun Ryan claiming Stafford moved past the flight of the ball and used his arm in an illegal blocking motion.
Stafford, who was reported on video evidence after the game by Ryan, told the tribunal he jumped early in the ruck contest to nullify Everitt, who had "jumped all over me" in the previous five contests.

The medium for Greg Stafford, Mark Ross, was not able to cut and paste Greg's reply, and resorted to typing in the reply directly from a printed hardcopy.
Thus, Stafford has fallaciously moved from the correct understanding that the term "God" in trinitarian usage CAN have two distinct connotations to the erroneous conclusion that two such distinct connotations MUST be present in the two halves of the premise to my argument.
Stafford again insinuates into my argument an understanding of the Trinity that I do not hold and for which he has provided no documentation that it is held by trinitarians.

Greg Stafford was up next with his rebuttal and immediately said the whole Trinity is "bogus" and that he is sure Rob Bowman was being deceitful but not on purpose.
Greg Stafford also attempted to swing the discussion around to the 'Trinity' several times during the debate in spite of it not being the topic.
Greg Stafford also pulled the 'my way or the highway' dogmatism even though Rob Bowman did not but only said that it was the best explanation for an intangible situation.

Greg, on the other hand, thinks that, in addition to these uses, reason also may be used to evaluate the resulting doctrinal position for possible irrational aspects or apparently intractable logical problems.
Greg will probably object that this interpretation still cannot explain why the Son would need to be given life by the Father in his human state.
Greg is denying the possibility of the doctrine of the Trinity being true on the basis of a linguistic analysis of what he reasons are possible or not possible valid uses of the term "God." This is not biblical theology.

Greg Stafford's series of replies to my response to his critique of my paper on Sharp's rule is long enough to be a book.
Stafford's explanation, in sum, is that I ignored the fact that Paul wrote about the appearing, not of the Father per se, but of the GLORY OF the Father.
Greg Stafford, for example, writes, "It would be another qualified reference to Jesus as theos, with the understanding that Jesus has one who is God to him." Stafford, like all Jehovah's Witnesses, assumes that because Paul and Peter elsewhere speak of the Father as Jesus' God (e.g., 2 Cor.

Stafford reasons that the fundamental differences between the Jehovah'S Witnesses and other religous groups needs to be examined in the light of Biblical and grammatical evidence. While Stafford is no doubt Zealous, he never comes across dogmatic. He seems to balance both logic and reason as a rule.I did feel some of the reading was rather technical.

Greg and I agree that in both of these texts the noun SOTÊR ("Savior") refers to "Jesus Christ." However, we differ on whether these texts should be construed to use the expression "(our) Savior Jesus Christ" as a proper name equivalent.
Greg argues that the proper question to be asked when faced with a construction article-noun-KAI-noun is why the second noun lacks the article.
Essentially, Greg reasons that if Sharp's rule were correct, no one would ever use this construction if the second noun referred to a different person.
