	Gregorio del Pilar - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Gregorio del Pilar (November 14, 1875—December 2, 1899) was the youngest and the most picturesque general in the Philippine Revolutionary Forces during the Philippine Revolution and the Philippine-American War.
		He was the nephew of the great propagandist Marcelo H. del Pilar and Toribio del Pilar, who was exiled to Guam for his involvement in the 1872 Cavite Mutiny.
		On June 1, Del Pilar landed in Bulacan with rifles purchased in Hong Kong, quickly laying siege on the Spanish forces in the province.

		In March 1930 the supposed remains of Gregorio del Pilar were exhumed, close to Tirad Pass in the northern province of Ilocos Sur and brought to the eminent medico-legal expert of the University of the Philippines Department of Pathology, Dr. Sixto de los Angeles, for study and identification.
		We all know Del Pilar was killed in action in December 1899 while protecting Emilio Aguinaldo from the American soldiers in hot pursuit.
		What remained of Del Pilar were 73 bones and 33 teeth and one piece of bone that was too decayed to be of any use.
