 James Gregory Tribute Page
One of the most beloved actors of all, James Gregory was born December 23, 1911, in the Bronx and grew up in New Rochelle, N.Y. In high school he was elected president of the Drama Club.
James Gregory did a few TV spots as early as 1951, and in 1955 he made the transition from the Broadway stage to live television.
In 1959, James Gregory made television history by costarring in the pilot episode of the "Twilight Zone"; the episode "Where Is Everybody?" concerning the relevant topic of the USA winning the space race by sending a manned spaceship to the moon sold the series.

Musician/songwriter and producer Gregory Page was born in London, England to a musical family.
At the age of 30, Gregorys mother informed him that the man he thought was his father was in actuality his stepfather, and though she knew nothing of his real fathers whereabouts she gave him his name.
Page also played guitar on the album and arranged the strings and the accordion (which were played by Phil Parlapiano who also performs with John Prine.) Looking towards 2006 Gregory adds Gregory Page is currently recording new music and performing for audiences wherever there are audiences.

I got the impression that the characters in 'Gregory's Girl' came from a similar background, although some of the houses in the film appeared almost middle class.
