Gremlin Interactive was a British software house based in Sheffield and working mostly on the personal computer and Amiga market.
The company was established in 1984 as Gremlin Graphics Software Ltd. and renamed in 1994.
Gremlin scored big with the Premier Manager series still in the early 1990s, and then with Actua Soccer, the first football game in full 3D, while having success with other games such as Lotus Turbo Challenge, Zool, Motorhead or Hardwar.

It's evident that Gremlin have spent many long hours making sure the motion capture is spot on, which it is, except for the running of course.
Hats off to Gremlin for making the players recognisable, no matter which character you pick, he or she is sure to look like their real life counterpart.
Well it's obvious that Gremlin have spent a lot of time and money researching all the different players, court locations and tournaments etc. In total there are 64 real life players, 32 men and 32 women.

You can thank Gremlin for this because when it released the original Premier Manager a few years ago it created a game that was as close to football management as you could possibly get.

Alas, "Who the heck are Gremlin Interactive anyway?" you might bleat, but cast any thoughts of doll-sized Gizmo's (the fur ball character from the Gremlins movie) and friends aside because Gremlin Interactive are indeed one of the UK's finest and proudest Games Development and Publishing House's.
Where as Gremlin Interactive grew from strength to strength on the C64, Atari ST and the Amiga 500 platforms, Tiffany fell through hers and drowned somewhere immersed in one of her horrid 1980s knitted Christmas jumpers.
So you can see it's no mean feat- Gremlin Interactive survived and indeed thrived throughout the 80s and have now blossomed into a global operation in the 90s employing some 300 people.

It has dealt the console rights to Earthworm Jim to Take Two Interactive, signed a deal with Gremlin Interactive to publish five Gremlin games in North America, and expanded its credit by $14 million, all in the last few days.
